BPR Lestari socialized on the importance of financial awareness since early age to the younger generations. The socialization was held on Friday, July 8th, 2022, located at AKUBANK Campus Auditorium, Renon, Denpasar. This activity was conducted as the realization of KREASIMUDA program (Chase the Achievement of Indonesia’s Younger Generations) that aimed to encourage the saving culture of the younger generation.
In this activity, BPR Lestari collaborated with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Regional 8 Bali and Nusa Tenggara to provide knowledge on the function and role of OJK towards the financial sector in Indonesia as well as being aware of illegal investment. In this occasion, OJK also provided literacy related to financial management for younger generations.
This activity was attended by the representative of OJK of Regional 8 Bali and Nusa Tenggara namely Putu Arya Wirasetyanta as the Head of Partnership and Development of Economic and Financial Section as well as Bachtiar Rivai Rozak as the Head of Consumer Education and Protection Sub Section.
The event was continued with socialization material by BPR Lestari with the theme “Financial Awareness since Young Age” that contained various knowledges related to financial planning since early age.
“This is a form of BPR Lestari’s support towards KREASIMUDA program as a form of support from Presidential Decree Number 26 of 2019 on Indonesian Saving Day in order to create Indonesian’s younger generations who are aware with financial as well as instilling a culture of saving from early age to the younger generation,” said I Made Wenten B. as the Director of BPR Lestari Bali.
During this socialization, BPR Lestari also shared tips of saving discipline for the younger generations. One of the tips that can be applied by the younger generations to be consistent in saving is to save in a term saving account.
The term saving account that can be tried is Sikaya Saving from BPR Lestari. Initial deposit and monthly deposit are easy, only Rp 250.000. The customers also can get other benefits namely 3,5% interest and free monthly administration fees. It is suitable for the young people who just want to start saving.
It is expected, the more younger generations who are discipline to save and aware with the importance of managing finances since early age, the more glorious future of Indonesia will be.
