BPR Lestari Bali (Lestari Group member) continues doing #LestariForKids program, as part of their mission to #MakeAnImpact to Balinese. In December 2018, a total of 8-ton rice has been distributed on Saturday and Sunday, December 8th-9th, 2018. In 2018, BPR Lestari Bali has been successful in working with at least 40 children orphanages from all over Bali. “We have reached more orphanages to work with in December this year. We do hope, this program can fulfill children needs for food supply,”Wisnu Merthayoga, Marketing Communications Manager BPR Lestari Bali said.
In the end of each distribution, kids made their time to say thank you to BPR Lestari Bali team who was visiting them. “Thank you, BPR Lestari Bali team for all hard work and for the frequent rice,”one of the kids expressed their thankful. The limited number of donor has been a long-term problem for orphanages in Bali. Food supply condition is still far from expectation and has been a challenge for them to survive. For that reason, BPR Lestari Bali takes their role as permanent donor for each of its associated orphanage.
Until the end of this year, Lestari Group has 6 affiliations under its name i.e.: BPR Lestari Bali in Denpasar, BPR Lestari Jatim in Malang, BPR Lestari Jateng in Solo, BPR Lestari Jabar in Bekasi, BPR Lestari Banten in Tangerang and BPR Lestasi Jakarta in Jakarta Barat. “Other than the 40 orphanages in Bali, there are 8 others in Java that have been partnered with Lestari Group affiliations,” Alex P. Chandra explained in his office in Denpasar. All BPRs under Lestari Group involve in this #LestariForKids program. “This program has been our national program. We aim to target 100 orphanages in Java and Bali to associate with.”Alex added.
